Juventus are now in pole position to sign Jadon Sancho from Man United after the U-turn on Erik ten Hag's future.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O'Rourke revealed that the Italian giants have entered the race for the 25-year-old and could look to bring him in on loan.

Sancho was involved in a public bust-up with Ten Hag early last season, and the manager remaining in his role means a return to Old Trafford is now off the cards.

Sources say Borussia Dortmund "would love" to re-sign the winger this summer, but will struggle to afford his asking price and will be looking to agree to another loan deal.

Sancho spent the second half of last season on loan at Dortmund as he helped the side reach the Champions League final, making 21 appearances as he scored three goals and provided three assists.

However, given the financial struggles at the Bundesliga club, Juventus have moved ahead in the race to secure his signature.

The winger moved to Man United from Dortmund in a £73million deal just three years ago, but a turbulent spell in Manchester led to his public falling out with Ten Hag.

There is no shortage of interest in his signature in Europe after showing what he can do during his loan spell.

Now, another move away from Old Trafford is seemingly inevitable given his bust-up with Ten Hag, as clubs race to seal the deal.
