Veteran striker Kenny Miller belives that Rangers' new arrivals have settled in well at Ibrox ahead of their first game of the season on Thursday night.

A number of Pedro Caixinha's recruits could be handed debuts in the Europa League's first qualifying round clash against Luxembourg's Progres Niederkorn.

In total, the Light Blues have completed deals for eight new players and as many as seven of then could play at Ibrox in the first game of the 2017/18 campaign on Thursday.

Portugese defender Bruno Alves is currently away on international duty at the Confederations Cup but the squad appears to be in good shape ahead of the clash.

Miller, 37, has revealed that he has started to learn some new phrases due to the number of arrivals from over-seas.

"The new boys have been settling in fine. It's a good place to come with so many good people around the club," he said, as quoted by the Gers' official Twitter account on Wednesday.

"I'm trying to learn a few Spanish and Portuguese phrases."

Along with Alves, Ryan Jack, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Fabio Cardoso, Alfredo Morelos, Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera have all been recruited by the Glaswegians, who are desperate to put to bed what was an uninspiring return to the Scottish Premiership last season.

Miller was one of few highlights in the 2016/17 campaign as he scored 14 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions, which two of them coming against Old Firm rivals Celtic.
