Leeds United fans were indebted to young goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell after a torrid first half at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

They went a goal down to to a Jon Dadi Bodvarsson goal in the 16th minute and it could have been much, much worse but for some top-class saves from Peacock-Farrell.

Leeds took advantage and equalised just before half-time, before taking the lead through a great goal from Pablo Hernandez.

However, they couldn't hold on and were pegged back midway through the second half when Eunan O'Kane put through this own net.

Peacock-Farrell was put in goal for the 3-0 defeat to Wolves in midweek and Paul Heckingbottom saw enough to give him another chance, and Leeds fans are delighted with the decision.

It's early days but if he carries on like this he might have done enough to stake a claim for the green jersey next season.

In the meantime, fans – who had been calling for him to replace Felix Wiedwald for weeks – are happy their choice has been vindicated.

Here is a selection of the best reactions to the display from Peacock-Farrell against Reading:
