Luke Murphy is heading back to Leeds this summer after his extended loan deal with Burton expires, but Whites fans don't want him anywhere near Elland Road.
Nigel Clough confirmed that Burton can't keep him after getting relegated back to League One, but has said that he would put a call in to manager Paul Heckingbottom to try to convince him to give him a chance at Leeds.
Talking in the Burton Mail, Clough called the player "absolutely brilliant" and said he was good enough for Leeds, but fans think otherwise.
Murphy has made 111 appearances for Leeds since joining in 2013, but was frozen out and sent on loan to Burton 18 months ago.
He's become a mainstay in their side, but was part of the team that finished last but one in the Championship, and that doesn't inspire Leeds fans with any confidence.
They want better players than they currently have, not worse, and want Heckingbottom and Victor Orta to strengthen the side considerably over the summer.
If fans have their way, that won't include Murphy.
