Kalvin Phillips played the full 90 minutes of Leeds' 1-1 draw against Wigan on Tuesday - and fans on Twitter were underwhelmed by his performance.

The Elland Road academy graduate was once again given the nod over Ronaldo Vieira and Matt Grimes to start in central midfield alongside Eunan O'Kane.

It was a sixth consecutive start for Phillips, 20, who is establishing himself as a mainstay of the side in the absence of the injured Liam Bridcutt.

Phillips has now appeared in 15 of Leeds' 16 matches this season, nine of which he has started.

But the young midfielder had a mixed evening on Tuesday as Leeds failed to hold out for the win after Chris Wood's early goal.

Shaun MacDonald grabbed a stoppage-time equaliser, which meant that Garry Monk's side remain in 13th in the Championship table.

Fans took to social media to give their verdicts on Phillips' against Wigan.
