Hadi Sacko has dropped a huge hint on Instagram that he is quitting Leeds - and fans have delivered mixed verdicts on Twitter.

The right-winger, 24, took to his personal Instagram  account on Monday night to say goodbye to supporters following a wretched campaign spent mostly on the sidelines.

Sacko wrote that he "just wanted to say thank you' and he would "never forget" his two seasons at Elland Road.

Sacko has slipped down the United pecking order this season after making 42 appearances while on loan under ex-boss Garry Monk in 2016-17, when his extreme pace and power through his 6ft frame (source: Transfermarkt) providing a new dimension out wide.

The right-winger signed a three-year contract and joined on a permanent deal last summer for a reported fee of £1.5million but has been mostly ignored by Paul Heckingbottom and his predecessor Thomas Christiansen.

The Mali international has started just a single league match among his 18 appearances this season and now appears to be heading for the Elland Road exit door even though he has two years remaining on his contract.

Supporters have taken to social media en masse to react to Sacko's revelation, with some claiming he will be missed, and others insisting it was a poor decision to sign him last summer and he's not good enough to wear the Leeds shirt.
