Leeds United fans are happy with the club's 'impressive' 4-1 win against German side Hannover in their latest pre-season game - and backed Mateo Joseph, Georginio Rutter and Brenden Aaronson to have amazing seasons.

Following the club's failure to secure promotion back to the Premier League last season and the controversial deal with Red Bull, the fans needed a pick-me-up and this victory has certainly helped.

Ilia Gruev, Joel Pireo, and Joseph were all on the scoresheet as the West Yorkshire club demolished 2.Bundesliga side Hannover.

Leeds need a good pre-season after multiple players have already left the club this summer with few incoming and it's unlikely to end before the August 31st transfer deadline day.

Football Insider revealed (July 21) that Italian winger Wilfried Gnonto is in talks with Everton over a move to the Premier League club.

Leeds United fans delighted after Hannover result

Last season ultimately ended in heartbreak for Leeds after their 1-0 Championship play-off final defeat to Southampton.

This transfer window hasn't been much better for Leeds. The club have brought in centre-back Joe Rodon and right-back Jayden Bogle but have lost 12 first-team players.

The club are working on bringing in new players to help bolster Daniel Farke's small squad ahead of next season.

Football Insider revealed (July 26) that Leeds United have joined the race to sign Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace.

Leeds have followed up their 3-0 win against fellow Yorkshire side Harrogate with an impressive 4-1 victory over Hannover.

Now Leeds United fans have a little bit of hope going into next season as Farke aims to lead his side back to the Premier League.
