Liverpool academy star Rhian Brewster produced another stunning performance for England Under-17s in their European Championship qualifier in Romania on Sunday.

The youngster was on hand to score England's winning goal against Austria as they recorded a crucial 3-2 victory and Brewster was involved heavily throughout the game, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The 16-year-old had a shot saved on the line shortly after Austria took the lead in the first-half and hit the post after the break which led to England's second goal.

Brewster rounded-off another impressive international display when he slotted home a penalty kick to seal victory for the young lions.

The Liverpool forward, who has performed regularly for Neil Critchley's Under-18 side this season, scored five goals in two games during England's Croatia Cup campaign last month.

His international form earned him a call-up to the first team squad for a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bradford at Melwood earlier this month.

The former Chelsea youngster scored on his first Liverpool Under-18s start against Stoke this season and has continued to show good form throughout the campaign.

His Liverpool side currently sit at the top of the table after securing a 2-0 victory against Sunderland on Saturday but rivals Manchester City have two games in hand.
