Liverpool kept their momentum going with a win over Bournemouth at Anfield in the Saturday evening kick-off - but fans were disappointed with the performance of Georginio Wijnaldum.

The midfielder hasn't had a vintage season and has been on the wrong end of fan criticism for a number of weeks now.

And he did nothing in the first-half on Saturday to change their minds.

Sadio Mane gave Liverpool the lead in the game after seven minutes and fans of both sides must have thought the floodgates would open, with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah playing too.

But Bournemouth hung on through half-time just one goal down, before Salah got his inevitable goal in the 69th minute with a powerful, looping header.

Incredibly, it's his 30th Premier League goal of the season. Firmino finished the game off late on.

Meanwhile, Wijnaldum had a better second half, breaking play up well, but it wasn't enough to save him from a roasting from fans.
