Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter after it was reported that Chelsea midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies had arrived at the club for a trial.

It is understood that the former England Under-17 international was on trial at QPR earlier this year as he eyes up a summer switch away from the Premier League champions without ever making a single first-team appearance for them.

Christie-Davies featured for Liverpool's Under-23s in their 4-0 Premier League 2 defeat to Leicester at the King Power on Monday night.

The report says that the Reds are continuing to "run the rule" over the Chelsea youngster at the Kirby Academy.

Liverpool fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news, but most of them do not seem to know much about him.

One fan seems to think that Christie-Davies could be the "next Mo Salah" though as the Egyptian attacker was offloaded by Chelsea earlier in his career.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Christie-Davies won the UEFA Youth League in 2016 with Chelsea and has been a mainstay of their Premier League 2 side this season, making 13 appearances in the Under-23s league.
