Liverpool fans have torn into Trent Alexander-Arnold after his performance in the Premier League clash v Man United at Anfield.

Arne Slot's side were held to a 2-2 draw after goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah overturned Lisandro Martinez's opener before a late Amad Diallo strike drew the visitors level.

Amid plenty of frustration at the final result, many of the home supporters fixed their attention on the right-back and his underwhelming display.

In a week when Alexander-Arnold has once again been heavily linked to signing a pre-contract agreement with Real Madrid, fans' patience is wearing thin.

The 26-year-old's flaws were exposed by United, particularly in the defensive third, with his lack of action leading to the Red Devils' opening goal.

Alexander-Arnold has impressed overall this season, but his defensive flaws mean a question mark is still hanging over him despite what he can bring to the team.
