Liverpool have made the decision to loan out Ben Doak to a fellow Premier League team this season, sources have told Football Insider.

A deal for the 18-year-old is expected to be done by the 31st August cut-off, giving him the opportunity for more game time.

Brentford, Leicester City, and Southampton have all registered an interest in a season-long loan deal.

The promising teenager joined the Premier League giants from Celtic in 2022 for a fee of £600,000.

The winger only made five senior appearances last season as injury problems hampered him due to a meniscus tear.

Doak was part of Liverpool’s pre-season tour of America and featured in the 3-0 victory against Man United.

Liverpool want to give Ben Doak some first-team minutes to develop

A potential loan move out of Anfield will provide Doak with an opportunity for more first-team minutes next season, which will aid his development.

A season-long loan move could benefit all parties involved if the teenager can get enough playing time.

The winger has shown his potential in the Premier League 2, scoring four goals and creating two assists in 14 matches.

Billy Koumetio is another young player who is expected to depart Anfield this summer, but his move will be permanent.
