Liverpool were cruising 2-0 against Newcastle until a blunder from Simon Mignolet let Newcastle back into the game - and Reds fans are thoroughly fed up with the Belgian.

Mignolet is well-known for his tendency to produce head-scratching moments and his performance against Newcastle threw up another frustrating error.

The goalkeeper opted to try and come and collect a cross that was never really there to be claimed and subsequently left Papisse Cisse with an open goal to target and the striker duly headed in to peg Liverpool back to 2-1.

It is the fourth time this season in the league that a mistake by Mignolet has led directly to a goal, which makes him the most error-prone goalkeeper in the top flight in 2015/16.

The Magpies went on to level the game and snatch a point from Anfield and Liverpool supporters were pretty convinced after the game that one man was to blame for the collapse.
