Liverpool will have to fight off competition from Premier League rivals to land Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed Man United and Arsenal are ready to launch moves for the 23-year-old in the off-season.

Liverpool are plotting defensive reinforcements in the off-season as they start life without legendary manager Jurgen Klopp.

Joel Matip, who picked up a season-ending knee injury earlier this season, is set to leave Anfield for free at the end of his contract next month.

Meanwhile, Man United and Arsenal are also eyeing a swoop for Guehi as they bid to bolster their centre-back ranks.

The centre-back is currently on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in February - which has meant Oliver Glasner is yet to see him in action for his new-look Eagles side.

But nine-cap England star Guehi is set to return to fitness before the European Championships in June and could make Gareth Southgate's squad.

He has made 26 appearances across all competitions for Palace this season, starting in 24 of those outings.

The 23-year-old's contract at Crystal Palace, which hasn’t been renewed since he joined the club from Chelsea in 2021, is set to expire in June 2026.
