Manchester City starlet Noah Ohio has agreed a deal to join RB Leipzig this summer, Football Insider understands.

The 16-year-old striker has turned down the offer of a new three-year contract at City and is set to make a permanent move to Germany.

A number of clubs from abroad have expressed an interest in signing Ohio, but a source with knowledge of the situation has told Football Insider that big-spending RB Leipzig have moved quickly to agree terms with the exciting teenager.

Dutch-born Ohio is highly-regarded at the Etihad Stadium after impressing for City's youth sides since joining the club from Manchester United in 2016.

The rising star has represented both England and the Netherlands at under-16 level and he has been a regular in City's Under-18s side in the last 12 months.

Ohio is the latest young City prospect to swap the Etihad for Germany following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Rabbi Matondo.

Bundesliga club RB Leipzig have offered Ohio a clearer pathway to first-team football and are set to finalise his transfer imminently.
