Alan Hutton has claimed Man United should look to offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Tottenham and Aston Villa defender suggested 24-year-old won't fit into Erik ten Hag's style of play.

According to Italian outlet CalicoMercato (23 July), United consider a move for Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries if Wan-Bissaka leaves the club.

United are said to be in "pole position" to sign Dumfries in this window.

Wan-Bissaka has two years left on his contract at Old Trafford with the option of a further year.

He joined the Red Devils from Crystal Palace in 2019 for a fee of £50million.

When asked if he thought United should try to offload the right-back, Hutton told Football Insider: "I think so.

"He’s obviously had a tough time, I think defensively he’s a really good player. He’s difficult to get past and he’s shown that.

"But going forward, I think that’s his weakness.

"When you play for a team like Manchester United under Ten Hag, that’s the outlet. The left wing-back, the right wing-back and the full-backs they give you the width and the crosses into the box and I don’t think he fits that bill.

"They’ll look for different options to fit into the new manager’s mould. But Wan-Bissaka, they paid £50m for him, is anybody going to pay that? I can’t see it. It’ll be interesting to see what team takes the bait for him."
