Man United forward Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to address the "ridiculous" rumours surrounding his future at the club.

The 27-year-old admitted last month to wanting a "new challenge" after being left out of the squad for Man United's 2-1 Premier League win over local rivals Man City.

Rashford has since returned to the fold, making the bench in United's humiliating 2-0 defeat to Newcastle on Monday (December 30) but was ultimately not called upon by Ruben Amorim.

The winger has seen his status at the club fall this season, starting 19 of his 24 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals, and providing three assists in his 1500 minutes of action.

Winless in their last three Premier League games, defeat to Newcastle sees Amorim's side fall into 14th, with six wins, four draws, nine defeats, and 22 points from their 19 games.

Marcus Rashford refutes claims he's hired well-known agency to force Man United exit

According to the Sun, Rashford held talks with Gareth Bale's former agency 'Stellar' to help him find a new club as soon as possible.

Stellar was the agency responsible for securing Bale's then-world record £86million move to Real Madrid from Tottenham back in 2013.

Rashford has since taken to Instagram to reject the report, saying: "Been a lot of false stories written over past few weeks, but guys this is getting ridiculous. Never met with any agency and don't have any plans to."

It remains unclear when or even if Rashfor will play for Man United again, with Amorim seemingly adamant to keep him out of the side.

Man United start 2025 off with a bang, traveling to old rivals Liverpool on Sunday (December 5) as they seek to avoid a fourth consecutive league defeat.
