Pontus Jansson has been named in the starting line-up for Sweden's opening World Cup game against South Korea on Monday, and Leeds fans are delighted for their enforcer.

The 1pm kick-off is the first of three World Cup games today, with England set to open their campaign against Tunisia this evening, but Leeds fans have now got an extra interest in the lunchtime game.

Despite having a pretty torrid season at Elland Road, Jansson, 27, has been given the nod and will win his 16th cap, despite not starting the last two friendlies.

He didn't play in the last seven World Cup qualifiers either but will be delighted to see his name on the team sheet today, with Man United's Victor Lindelof sick.

However, it might be a case of be careful what you wish for, for Leeds fans.

They're obviously happy to see one of their players get international recognition, but they will also want to hold onto him for next season and the World Cup games are a big shop window.
