Newcastle have already been busy in the transfer window but Benitez' activity looks far from over as he continues to be linked with a number of players.

The Northern Echo claims that Benitez is still keen on Middlesbrough's Adama Traore and has been offered Jefferson Montero from Swansea for £4million.

The also claim that Andros Townsend is another option and that Benitez could also be set to make an offer to former Man City winger Jesus Navas, who is a free agent after his contract ran out at the start of July.

The Magpies are also favourites to sign midfielder Sam Clucas from relegated Hull this summer.

Clucas put in some good performances for Hull last season, although his three goals and one assist from 37 appearances weren't enough to save his side from the drop.

Now, he's priced at just 5/2 to make the switch from the KCOM Stadium to St James' Park with SkyBet.

Leicester City are Newcastle's closest rivals and they're way back at 7/1, followed by Burnley (8/1), Watford (10/1) and Swansea (18/1).

Clucas has also been priced at 11/8 to stay at Hull, which suggests the market expects him to leave.

If he does, Newcastle is the most likely destination at the moment.
