Newcastle senior player could be first out of exit door as London club eye swoop - report

Crystal Palace are targeting a summer move for Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul, according to a report.
The Dutchman, who has been out of action with an anterior cruciate ligament injury since last October, is set to be back fit for pre-season.
The Croydon Advertiser claim Palace are hoping to reunite Krul with his former manager Alan Pardew.
It is said they are unperturbed that he is recovering from a serious injury and are keen to take advantage of his contract situation, which has just 12 months to run.
Pardew managed the 28-year-old, who has been at St James' Park for 10 years, before taking over the reins at Palace in January 2015.
But following the Magpies' relegation to the second tier of English football, Krul could be the first of a number of senior players out the exit door as manager Rafael Benitez reshapes his squad.
The goalkeeper has made more than 150 appearances for Newcastle and has been the established No1 for six years.
It is reported that Palace No1 Wayne Hennessey could move on after the European Championships with Wales, while long-serving Julian Speroni will stay on for another year.
Everton and West Brom have also been touted as potential destinations for Hennessey.
With Krul's fitness in question Palace will also look to keep hold of Alex McCarthy to deputise in his absence if required.
However, McCarthy could be a man in demand with various Championship clubs looking to revisit offers after failing to secure him on loan in January.
