Report: Newcastle given emphatic answer in pursuit of on-fire striker

Newcastle have been told they have no chance of signing Will Grigg this summer unless they offer a huge amount of money for the striker, according to a report.
The Northern Ireland international scored 28 goals at Wigan this season and was the inspiration behind the chart-topping song 'Will Grigg is on fire'.
The Shields Gazette claim that Wigan have now warned any of his potential suitors, including Newcastle, that the striker is not for sale.
However, Wigan are reported to have subsequently relented slightly in their stance by admitting a massive bid could tempt them to sell.
It is said the 24-year-old is thought to be very happy at Wigan, where has two years left to run on his contract.
Grigg's form helped Wigan storm to the League One title and secure promotion back into the Championship, while also ensured his place in Northern Ireland's Euro 2016 squad.
Newcastle are believed to want to add two strikers to their squad this summer as they look to achieve promotion straight back into the Premier League.
Grigg is not thought to be at the top of Rafael Benitez's wishlist and Wigan's stern response to interest in their star man may just have ended any hope of the forward making the move to St James' Park.
