Arsenal fans are happy with the news that former Gunner Patrick Vieira has overtaken Brendan Rodgers as the favourite to be the next Arsenal manager.

However, fans are in two minds as to whether he's ready for the job yet.

Arsene Wenger sensationally announced that he would quit the club at the end of the season, drawing to a close over 20 years as their manager.

Brendan Rodgers was installed as the bookies favourite immediately after the news, but it didn't take long for Vieira's name to overtake him at the top, with some bookies making him as as short as 4/1.

This came after Wenger said that Viera had the potential to succeed him, although he did say "one day".

Some Arsenal fans would be happy to see Vieira back at the club now though, and took to Twitter to make their feelings felt.

However, one said if he wasn't a former Arsenal player his name would be nowhere near the list.
