Nottingham Forest fans have revisited their rage with English officials following their VAR controversy at the Euros on Friday.

Premier League officiating duo Anthony Taylor and Stuart Attwell were behind the much-maligned check [MailOnline, 21 June] which took almost three minutes in disallowing Xavi Simons' goal for the Netherlands against France following a subjective player involvement call which rendered the strike offside.

It is the longest a VAR review has taken in the tournament so far as the match finished goalless, reigniting the debate on whether English officials simply cannot complete checks quickly enough compared to their foreign counterparts.

Forest fans flocked to social media to sympathise with Dutch supporters, following their own highly controversial moment involving the pair in their Premier League match with Everton on 21 April - Football Insider [1 May] collected the reactions of the Forest fanbase to the released VAR audio from the incident.
