Leading bookmakers PaddyPower have slashed the odds on Argentine Marcelo Bielsa being the next Leeds manager.

The former Argentina and Chile coach, who has been out of work since an ill-fated stint at Lille, is a big name and would be a shock appointment.

However, he has been linked by a number of reliable sources, with Phil Hay from the Yorkshire Evening Post admitting that two separate people had told him he was being considered the post.

He's been named by Pep Guardiola as 'the best coach in the world' and odds of him taking over at Elland Road have been slashed to just 4/9, making him odds-on to be unveiled as the new manager.

Former joint favourites Claudio Ranieri and Filippo Inzaghi have dropped to 5/1 and 11/1 respectively.

Current manager Paul Heckingbottom is currently on his holidays but is returning on Saturday to a maelstrom.
