Newcastle fans will be excited to see that the odds of them signing Man City midfielder Fabian Delph in the summer window have been slashed.

According to the Northern Echo there is renewed interest in Delph from Newcastle and Benitez, after the Magpies tried to sign him in January.

He wasn't for sale back then, but now Man City seem keen to offload the former England star, with a valuation of around £10million.

The Northern Echo claim that Newcastle would face competition from West Brom and Stoke, and these two are the Magpies closes rivals according to the latest odds.

SkyBet make Stoke the favourites to sign Delph at odds of just 8/13 but Newcastle are now second favourites at odds of just 3/1.

West Brom follow behind the leading pair with odds of 11/2.

That's a sizeable shift in the market from last month, when Leicester were second favourites to land the player and Newcastle were 5/1.

If the betting market is accurate, one thing seems certain – that Delph will move somewhere. His odds of staying at the Etihad are a big 8/1.
