Paul Robinson has hailed Wolves winger Adama Traore as an "electric" player who has developed into a "real force" in the Premier League.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Leeds United goalkeeper has been blown away by the improvement of the wide forward.

Traore, 23, struggled to make an impression at Wolves in his debut season following his summer of 2018 transfer for a then club-record £18million.

He made just eight Premier League starts among 36 appearances in all competitions last season, which yielded just one goal and three assists.

Traore has already been trusted with seven league starts in the new campaign and has been far more productive, with his 17 appearances across all competitions producing two goals and four assists.

"His pace is electric, a lot of the time players with pace are criticised because they've got no end product and that's all they've got," Robinson told Football Insider.

"He’s put an end product onto his play and he's a real threat. He’s strong, he's able to hold the ball up but he’s got an end product now to go with his pace and he’s a real force."

Traore first moved to England in January 2015, when he signed from Aston Villa from Barcelona.

The former Spain Under-21 international subsequently joined Middlesbrough in the summer of 2016 and spent two years at the north-east outfit.
