Three axed, recalled attacker to take centre stage: This Rangers XI will destroy Dundee
COMMENT
Normally a Rangers game against the side bottom of the league would be seen as an easy three points, but that won't be the case when the 'Gers head to Dens Park to take on Dundee on Friday night.
Rangers are under pressure following last week's shock defeat to Hamilton at Ibrox.
Just when it looked like interim manager Graeme Murty had got Rangers back on the right track following victories over Hearts and Partick Thistle, the defeat to Hamilton has seemingly put things back to square one.
Rangers' opponents tomorrow night, Dundee - managed by former Rangers legend Neil McCann - are also in poor form, having drawn 0-0 with Kilmarnock last week. They too will be hoping for a change in fortune.
With that in mind, the team that Murty picks will be very important as Rangers attempt to get back to winning ways.
Football Insider has picked the XI that is sure to get Rangers a much-needed victory against Dundee.

Goalkeeper and defenders
Wes Foderingham (Goalkeeper) - Gets some stick from the support at times, but undeniably the best goalkeeper currently at Rangers, which is why he will be the first choice pick for Graeme Murty.
Declan John (Left-back) - A better option than Lee Hodson, has the ability to create chances going forward and is solid enough in defence, which should be enough against Dundee.
Fabio Cardoso (Centre-back) - Deputising for the injured Bruno Alves, probably the best option alongside Ross McCrorie to form a solid centre-back partnership for Rangers in the coming weeks.
Ross McCrorie (Centre-back) - Rangers' brightest hope for the future, has the ability to overcome the mistake he made last week which lead to Hamilton's opening goal in their win at Ibrox.
James Tavernier (Right-back) - Still a key player for Rangers, particularly going forward, which is sometimes his best position. Should be able to create chaos against Dundee if given the time and space.

Midfield
Ryan Jack (Central midfield) - An important player for Rangers, who does the quiet things effectively, will be useful in breaking up Dundee's attacks and funnelling the ball forward to the strikers.
Jason Holt (Central midfield) - Similar to Holt in his style but slightly more effective going forward, will mostly be used as a destroyer in midfield that gets the ball forward.
Nico Kranjcar (Attacking midfield) - The talented attacker might be slowed down by injuries but he still possesses a touch of class, will take centre stage as he has the ability to find space and create chances - not afraid to have a shot on goal either.

Forwards
Kenny Miller (Striker) - Not the most popular player with the fans but is still able to score goals and provides excellent link-up play with his fellow strikers.
Alfredo Morelos (Striker) - Played well against Hamilton apart from his finishing, just needs a goal to get going again which is why he will be picked for this game.
Eduardo Herrera (Striker) - Not very prolific but has the ability to cause Dundee problems, could thrive in link-up play with Miller and Morelos which could create plenty of chances.
