Rangers fans have backed Borna Barisic after footage emerged of the left-back in an altercation with a fan after the 4-1 win v Kilmarnock.

The footage shared via X showed Barisic reacting to abuse from a supporter while signing autographs outside Ibrox.

Fans have urged others to consider the context, with most stating that the supporter was at fault for abusing the defender.

Barisic has been heavily linked with a move to Turkish outfit Trabzonspor this summer (Football Insider Sources, 27 April), with a potentially sour end to his Ibrox career on the cards.

Although many fans admitted they were not the biggest fans of Barisic, the majority being in support of him regardless shows the overall attitude towards the incident.

The supporter in question was labelled "embarrassing" and a "disgrace" for his actions and told there was no need to abuse the players.

Absolutely zero time for Barisic and should have been sent packing years ago.
