Rangers fans on Twitter have brutalised Sean Goss for his performance in the midfield against Celtic on Sunday.

Goss, 22, was culpable for two of the Hoops' side as Brendan Rodgers' men walked away from Ibrox with all three points after a 3-2 win.

The midfielder was signed from QPR on loan in the January transfer window and quickly established him as a favourite of Graeme Murty's in the centre of the park.

Many supporters had been urging the Gers to sign up Goss permanently in the summer, and when Murty discussed the possibility of it he was hit back by QPR manager Ian Holloway.

However some may have reservations about the former Manchester United player after his outing against Celtic when he stood off both Tom Rogic and Odsonne Edouard when they scored on Sunday.

One angry Gers fan slammed Goss as being an "absolute amateur".

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Goss has been a mainstay of Rangers' midfield since signing from QPR in January.

He has started every single Scottish Premiership fixture he has been available for, making 11 appearances in all competitions and scoring two goals in the process.

The midfielder was compared to Michael Carrick during his time at Old Trafford, but on Sunday it was clear why he was never able to make it at Man United.
