Jason Cummings has confirmed that he wants to stay at Rangers next season after his loan deal expires - and fans are loving his loyalty to the club.

The striker joined on loan from Nottingham Forest in January but has been restricted to just 17 appearances, many of which have come from the bench, as he plays second fiddle to Alfredo Morelos.

However, fans are on his side and will be even more so after he talked at today's pre-match press conference in blue face point and swore loyalty to Rangers.

Talking in the press conference, he kicked things off by saying, "I want to stay and I want to be here".

He followed on by saying his short stint at Rangers had been "the best experience I have had playing for such a big club".

He added that it had been frustrating at times not starting but that this was just the beginning of his time at Ibrox.

The 5ft 8 striker ended by saying that the talks are between Nottingham Forest and Rangers but that he hopes it happens.

That's the sort of talk that Rangers fans love and they flocked onto Twitter to give the striker their approval.
