Rangers fans have hit out at Robin Propper after his performance in their Scottish Premiership clash against St Mirren on 27 October.

Philippe Clement's side struggled to a 2-1 victory at Ibrox, with goals from Mohamed Diomande and Vaclav Cerny coming either side of Alex Grogic's strike.

It was a nervy performance from the hosts who held on to claim all three points and stay within range of Celtic and Aberdeen at the top of the table.

However, it was the 31-year-old's display which caught the eye of the home crowd throughout his 61 minutes on the pitch before he was dragged off and replaced by James Tavernier.

He was to blame for the goal, with Grogic able to bully the defender as he thundered a header home from inside the six-yard box.

This followed a trend in the centre-back's recent performances which has led fans to label him "soft" as they voiced concerns surrounding his consistency.

In the clash at Ibrox, Propper lost all three of his attempted aerial duels, lost possession eight times and completed just three of eight attempted long passes in a disappointing display. [Sofascore]

Propper arrived at Ibrox as one of Clement's priority signings in a £1.5million move from FC Twente in the summer, but has failed to impress the home crowd so far.

A number of questionable performances in the blue shirt have led to increased questions about his overall ability and how he has adapted to the Scottish game.

Following a nightmare performance against St Mirren, fans immediately took to social media to express their anger as the defender was labelled "horrendous" and "an absolute embarrassment".
