Rangers player in line for massive wage cut as fourth-placed club line up quickfire move - report

Kenny Miller is set to take a "hefty" wage cut as he prepares to continue his career in the Scottish Premiership, according to a report.
The Scottish Sun report that Hibernian and Motherwell lead the race to sign the striker, 38, after he was suspended by Rangers and are both set to sound him out over a quickfire move.
It is said that Miller is "determined" to clear his name at Ibrox but accepts he has played his last game for the club before his contract expires in the summer.
The Scottish Sun report that fourth-placed Hibs and seventh-placed 'Well are both convinced Miller has another year at the top still in him and are keen to make offers.
The possibility of a coaching role is on the cards for the former Scotland international, but he would need to take a significant drop in wages if he’s to stay in the SPL.

Miller is fighting to clear his name after his reputation took a major hit following the extraordinary events at Hampden at the weekend. But he appears to still be a player in demand, even though he has been around for two decades and will blow out 39 candles on his birthday cake in December. The veteran has been a fringe player at Ibrox for most of this season but he has demonstrated, with five goals from 23 appearances from a deep-lying striker role, that his time is not quite up yet. A romantic return to Hibs will appeal to many, although Kenny will not be able to secure Rangers-esque wages, or anything like.
