Hadi Sacko has dropped a huge hint on Instagram that he is quitting Leeds with a detailed 'thank you' message to the club's supporters.

The right-winger, 24, took to his personal social media account on Monday night to say goodbye to fans following a wretched campaign spent mostly on the sidelines.

Sacko wrote on Instagram that 'I just wanted to say thank you' and he would "never forget" his two seasons at Elland Road.

Football Insider verdict:

Plenty of Leeds players have had hugely disappointing seasons, but few can look back with more regret than Sacko, who would have had high hopes after an encouraging campaign on loan under ex-boss Garry Monk, in which he made 42 appearances and a was a regular of the team that finished seventh. It has been a different story under Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom, who handed the Mali international just a single league start between them. Neither appeared to put much store in Sacko's extreme pace and power, with his 6ft frame (source: Transfermarkt) appearing ideally suited to the physicality of the Championship. Leeds triggered an option last summer to sign him permanently, and he penned a contract that runs until 2020, but the cull that Andrea Radrizzani had promised now appears to be underway. Expect plenty of seniors to follow in Sacko's wake in the coming weeks.
