Sean Dyche sack at Everton 'very likely' - Top source
Everton boss Sean Dyche is "very likely" to face the sack at Goodison Park if results continue in the way they have gone so far this season.
This is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game as he exclusively told Football Insider that getting caught up in another relegation battle could spell an end to Dyche's spell.
Everton have dropped to 15th in the Premier League after a 4-0 defeat to Man United, having won just two of their 13 games so far this season, and they are winless in their last five games.
On top of that, they have failed to score in any of their last four, and have found the net just ten times this term, leading to frustration at Goodison Park.
Brown previously told Football Insider that the pressure from the home supporters could force the incoming owners to make a decision about the manager's future.
Now, with the situation becoming more tense and the Toffees struggling to pick up points, there is a growing feeling that a big call will have to be made.
The imminent takeover from The Friedkin Group is expected to have a direct impact on Dyche's position and they will likely have the final say.

Dyche has been under pressure at Everton as a result of their form so far this season, with fans beginning to call for his head as a result of their recent performances.
Brown, who has a wealth of experience working closely with top managers including Sir Alex Ferguson, Ron Atkinson and David Moyes, insisted that the pressure on the boss' position is not going away and the new owners could be forced to make a call.
"His future is very much up in the air," he told Football Insider.
"You can argue he's done a good job at Everton given the situations they've found themselves in.
"But when you're getting sucked into a relegation battle as they have, and you're struggling for form, it's very likely the manager will be sacked.
"Any manager in that position, near the bottom of the table and losing games, is under pressure.
"It feels like the pressure on Dyche, which is coming from the fans as much as anywhere else, isn't going away no matter what he does.
"They can't score goals, that's their biggest problem. Whether it's down to the style of play or the players themselves, the manager is the one who gets the blame.
"There's a lot of pressure on his position, especially with new owners coming in, so if their form doesn't turn around quickly I'd expect them to make a change."
