Rangers winger Josh McPake is a loan target for a number of teams in England and Scotland, including St Johnstone, Ross County and Bristol Rovers, Football Insider understands.

A Rangers source has told Football Insider that English League One duo Doncaster Rovers and Bristol Rovers and Scottish Premiership pair St Johnstone and Ross County have made enquiries to Rangers about the teenager's availability.

The interested quartet are keen to take the skillful forward on loan until January as they look to bolster their attacking options.

McPake is highly-regarded at Rangers after winning the club's Academy Player of the Year award last season.

McPake's progress at Rangers caught the attention of a number of Premier League clubs, but Rangers managed to tie down the attacker to a new three-year deal earlier this summer.

The 17-year-old impressed for Rangers in pre-season and made his first-team debut as a substitute in the Europa League qualifying win over St Joseph's FC last month.
