Bayern Munich are not expected to sign on-loan Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson permanently, sources have told Football Insider.

The German giants have a £70million option to buy the 24-year-old, but sources say that they are likely to send him back to West London.

That is despite Bayern holding talks with Chelsea over Jackson in an attempt to negotiate a lower fee to bring the striker to Munich on a permanent basis.

Sources say that the door is now open for a potential Premier League return in January for the Senegalese striker.

Everton have registered their interest in Nicolas Jackson

Last week, Football Insider revealed that Everton were keeping close tabs on Jackson ahead of the mid-season transfer window.

Sources say that the Toffees have now registered their interest in the centre-forward, as they look to solve their goalscoring issues.

Moyes is concerned about Beto’s form, while Thierno Barry has also struggled to impress since joining in the summer, and a move for a new striker could now be on the cards.

The Senegal international is seen as a “Moyes-type” striker with the physicality and movement to lead the line for the Merseyside outfit.

Everton linked with Tottenham striker

Meanwhile, Everton could also make a move for Tottenham forward Richarlison in the January transfer window.

That is according to former Spurs and Man United senior scout Mick Brown, who claims that the Brazil international would be open to leaving the North London side for the right opportunity.

Richarlison left Everton to join Spurs in the summer of 2022, after playing a vital role in keeping them in the Premier League the season before.

With the Toffees in need of striking reinforcements, Moyes could bring the 28-year-old back to Merseyside.
