Everton are braced for Richarlison to push for a summer exit after Carlo Ancelotti's departure, Football Insider understands.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider the Toffees are expecting the Brazilian to ask for a move to a European giant now Ancelotti has gone.

It is understood Everton would be open to offers if the versatile forward demands to leave.

Speaking to Globo Esporte last year, the Brazil star revealed only the Italian's presence prevented him from quitting 12 months ago.

However, with Ancelotti back at Real Madrid, it is expected Richarlison will look towards the exit door at Goodison Park.

As such, Everton may choose to cash in on the 20-cap ace this summer.

He has three years left on his contract on Merseyside, meaning the Toffees can still demand a hefty price tag.

His departure could provide significant transfer funds to the new manager.

Financial fair play regulations mean billionaire owner Farhad Moshiri cannot just sanction a huge spending spree.

Instead, Everton will need to look at offloading fringe players and even a first-team star to rebuild their squad.

Richarlison has been a standout performer for the Toffees since joining in a potential £50million deal from Watford.

However, he had an underwhelming 2020/21 campaign, scoring just seven goals in 34 Premier League appearances.

He has netted a total of 42 times in 119 games for the Toffees.
