Everton striker Salomon Rondon has held talks with multiple Turkish clubs before Thursday's transfer deadline, sources have told Football Insider.

Adana Demirspor are among the Turkish Super Lig clubs keen on signing Rondon before Thursday's (8 September) transfer deadline.

Everton

They have registered their interest in tying up a deal in the next 24 hours.

Rondon appeared in three of Everton's first four games of the new Premier League season, but has failed to emerge from the bench in the last two fixtures against Leeds and Liverpool.

The arrival of Neal Maupay from Brighton has relegated the Venezuela international back to a fringe role.

Rondon made 23 appearances across all competitions last term but managed just three goals and one assist.

The former West Brom and Newcastle hitman is out of contract at the end of the season – although Everton have the option to extend his stay by another year.

Anthony Gordon, who was extensively linked with Tottenham and Chelsea throughout the summer window, has also been preferred to Rondon in a striker berth this season.

The England Under-21 international has scored twice in the first six league games of the 2022-23 campaign.

Everton

Everton have struggled to pull away from the relegation fight this term after narrowly avoiding the drop in the 2021-22 season.

Frank Lampard's side are yet to claim their maiden league victory - and sit 16th on four points.
