Wolves, Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Southampton are among the clubs chasing Northern Ireland teenage sensation Jack Hastings, sources have told Football Insider.

The English quartet have registered their interest in a potential deal for the 17-year-old striker, who has already scored 20 goals this season.

Hastings has caught the eye with his impressive performances at Under-18 and Under-20 level this term.

Wolves

He is now on the fringes of the Larne first team having trained with them regularly, and made his senior debut in the Irish Cup in January.

The Northern Ireland Under-17 international has played three times at Under-17 level for his country during their European Championship qualification campaign in March.

Scouts from Wolves, Palace, Leeds and Southampton have made regular checks on Hastings as they weigh up moves for him.

Larne director of football Iain Dowie has alerted former club Crystal Palace to Hastings’ potential and the Northern Irish outfit are now bracing themselves for offers for the talented teenager.

The 17-year-old can play as a lone forward and as part of a front two.

Hastings is not the only Larne youngster attracting attention from English clubs ahead of the January transfer window.

Crystal Palace

Wolves and Crystal Palace sit 13th and 15th respectively in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Leeds and Southampton are in the promotion race in the Championship and have a history of bringing through top young talent.
