Man United will listen to offers for David de Gea as they set their sights on signing two new senior goalkeepers this summer, Football Insider can reveal.

The Premier League giants are planning a radical overhaul of their keeping ranks at the end of the season.

A United source has told Football Insider the plan is to bring in replacements for longstanding number one De Gea, 30, as well as his former deputy Sergio Romero, 34.

The club's recruitment team have already begun the process of sourcing two keepers and a significant budget has been set aside.

United recognise there will be few buyers capable of matching De Gea's huge salary, widely reported to be worth £350,000-a-week.

Offloading Romero will be far simpler as his contract expires at the end of the season.

De Gea has missed United's last three matches after being granted a leave of absence to attend the birth of his daughter.

Solskjaer appeared unsure at his media conference on Friday whether he would be able to call upon the Spaniard for Sunday's Premier League clash against West Ham.

But Dean Henderson is expected to continue in goal regardless of De Gea's availability.

The Englishman made his 16th appearance of the campaign in Thursday's 1-1 Europa League draw against AC Milan.

De Gea signed a four-year contract in December 2019 that runs until the summer of 2023, with an option to extend by a further 12 months.

He has made 337 appearances for United since joining in 2011 from Atletico Madrid for £22million.
