Rangers winger Kai Kennedy is a target for Queen’s Park for next season, sources have told Football Insider.

The 21-year-old, who has spent this season on loan at Falkirk, is out of contract at Ibrox this summer.

Queen's Park are preparing for options for either promotion or staying in the Championship next season.

Wide left has been a problem position for Queen's Park this season.

Josh McPake’s loan from Rangers has turned sour and he has dropped out of the team.

McPake started at the weekend after a long spell on the sidelines only to be hooked at half-time.

Kennedy can sign a pre contract as Rangers have already informed him he won’t be offered a new contract at Ibrox.

The Light Blues attempted to offload the winger in the January window as he was deemed surplus to requirements at the club.

Kennedy worked his way through the youth system in Glasgow but failed to ever nail down a place in the first team and has spent multiple seasons on loan as a result.

The attacker made his first team debut in a Scottish Cup tie against Stranraer back in 2020 but has failed to make a single league appearance for the club.

Rangers

He ultimately remained a Rangers player and continued on loan at Falkirk with that deal, along with his Gers contract, expiring in the summer.

Kennedy has made 23 League One appearances for Falkirk this season and has been included in the starting XI for 14 of those games.
