Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are both keen on signing Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The 28-year-old's contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season and it is understood that Liverpool have decided against offering the Guinean a new deal.

It was decided by Jurgen Klopp that it would be best for all parties if Keita left at the end of the season, with the German manager eager to completely rebuild his midfield.

Football Insider sources revealed on Saturday (18 March) that Liverpool are Jude Bellingham's first choice destination as a £130m+ move edges closer.

Klopp has grown frustrated with Keita's lack of availability, with a handful of injuries interrupting his progress in Merseyside.

He has only made 12 appearances for Liverpool across all competitions this season, with a major hamstring injury causing him to miss large parts of the season.

Since joining the Premier League outfit from RB Leipzig in 2018 for £48million, Keita has missed 84 games through injury - including 22 this season.

As a result, Keita has only made 129 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 11 and assisting seven.

Prior to his time in England, Keita was a star in the Bundesliga, contributing to 32 goals in 71 appearances.

A return to the Bundesliga is possible with Dortmund this summer, with the German giants preparing a contract offer for Keita.
