West Ham United's deal for FC Nordsjaelland forward Ibrahim Osman has stalled as the clubs could not agree a fee but new talks have taken place in a bid to resurrect the deal, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed that the Danish side will only sell the highly-rated attacker for a fee in excess of the £16million the Hammers have offered.

While talks had hit hit the rocks, a deal is being revived and the transfer could yet go through before the end of the window.

Meanwhile, David Moyes' side are still considering other attacking options this month if a deal can not be reached with Nordsjaelland before Thursday (1 February).

Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Arsenal, Brighton and Brentford could make late bids for the 19-year-old, and a move is expected to be sanctioned if any of these clubs meet Nordsjaelland's demands.

These clubs are still keeping close tabs on the Ghanaian's situation in the closing days of the transfer window.

Osman has impressed in Denmark this season having bagged four goals and five assists across 29 appearances in all competitions.

West Ham are expected to be active until late in the window, with Football Insider revealing (27 January) that they, along with Fulham and Nottingham Forest, are eyeing a late-window move for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
