'There could be a shock U-turn' - Exclusive: Danny Mills makes Tottenham star player claim

Danny Mills has claimed Toby Alderweireld could make a "shock U-turn" and stay at Tottenham if they win the Champions League this season.
The Belgium international has a year remaining on his contract but talks over a long-term extension collapsed last year and he is in line to quit Spurs this summer if a club trigger his £26million release clause.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Mills explained how Spurs fans still have realistic hope of one of their most influential players and a big fans favourite remaining beyond the transfer window.
"Alderweireld is expected to go, but there could be a shock U-turn if they win the Champions League," he said. "Players change their minds. If you are a Champions League winner, where is better?
"If the club says, 'here is more money' and they can come to an agreement over wages, why not?
"Certainly, Alderweireld is a top-class centre-back who Spurs would not want to lose. He is still fairly young and can be a big player for plenty of years."
The Belgian turned 30 in March and has a wealth of international, Champions League and Premier League experience.
Alderweireld, who joined Spurs from Atletico Madrid in 2015 for £13million, has 90 Belgium caps and has accumulated 157 appearances for Spurs in his four seasons at the club.
He has been a mainstay of the starting XI this season and has played the full 90 minutes of 11 of their 12 Champions League fixtures en route to the final.
