Thierry Henry emphatically refuted the possibility that he could support Tottenham when they host leaders Chelsea in Wednesday's crunch Premier League showdown.

Chelsea head to White Hart Lane with a five-point gap over second=placed Liverpool and will pull eight points clear of the chasing pack if they secure what would be a remarkable 14th consecutive league win.

Arsenal legend Henry was at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night to watch his former club come from three goals down to draw 3-3 against Bournemouth in a thrilling encounter.

The share of the points means the Gunners have lost ground in the title race, and will go a distant 11 points adrift if Antonio Conte's side win in north London.

But Sky Sports pundit and Arsenal fan Henry will not suddenly be supporting their bitter rivals from across the Seven Sisters Road.

Asked if the Gunners staff and players will be cheering on Spurs as they look for a favour from Mauricio Pochettino's side, Henry told Sky Sports 1 in the immediate aftermath of their live coverage of Arsenal-Bournemouth: "They might, but I won't be, no way. Too much has happened for that."

Henry, 39, is widely regarded as the greatest player in Arsenal's history for his goalscoring exploits during a trophy-laden eight years at the club.

He struck a phenomenal 226 goals in 368 matches for the Gunners and is the leading scorer in the club's history.

In other Tottenham news, the club have agreed the terms of a 21-year-old move in January.
