Celtic player ratings v Kilmarnock: Three players 4/10 in stalemate
COMMENT
Celtic and Kilmarnock played out a dull goalless draw at Celtic Park as a shadow Hoops side failed to fire against Killie.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers made plenty of changes from the side which played against Hearts, with the Scottish Cup Final in mind.
Patrick Roberts played as the lone striker, with starts for the likes of Jozo Simunovic, Calvin Miller and Scott Sinclair.
The first-half was rather dull, with the Hoops having plenty of possession but struggling to break down a well-drilled Killie defence.
A rare moment of excitement came when Simunovic was unlucky to have a header ruled out for offside in what was the Hoops' first shot on target.
The Hoops then came close when James Forrest headed over the bar, and a Scott Sinclair effort went right-along the edge of the goal-line but didn't go in the net.
Stuart Armstrong came close to opening the scoring early in the second-half and Jack Hendry should have scored when he put a free header past the post.
That was the last chance of the game though as the match ended in a goalless draw.

GOALKEEPERS AND DEFENDERS
Scott Bain - 5: Had nothing to do in what must go down in one of the quietest games he has ever had in his career, only time will tell if he features for the Hoops in the Scottish Cup Final.
Jack Hendry - 4: Looked very uncomfortable at right-back, then missed a free header which would have won the game, still hasn't won a match that he has started for the Hoops yet in his time in Glasgow.
Jozo Simunovic - 6: Looked better than he did in recent weeks for the Bhoys, but is unlikely to replace Dedryck Boyata in the first-team very soon, unlucky to have a goal ruled out for offside.
Kristoffer Ajer - 6: A decent enough performance, but had very little to do in the game, shows what Brendan Rodgers thinks of him that he played when many regulars were rested for the game.
Calvin Miller - 4: Didn't look comfortable in the left-back role, and seemed bereft of confidence when he was on the ball, it was no surprise to see him replaced by Kieran Tierney in the second-half.

MIDFIELD
Scott Brown - 6: Patrolled the midfield like he usually and controlled the game like he always does but his intensity was down a tad and you can't blame him as the match was so low-key.
Stuart Armstrong - 5: Had some nice touches in his return to the first-team but really should have given the Hoops the lead at the start of the second-half, was eventually subbed after a quiet game.
Callum McGregor - 5: Found it hard to get into the game and wasn't as influential as he can be for the Bhoys, has had better games in the past and will have better games in the future for the Hoops.
James Forrest - 5: Started off slowly but gradually got more into the game, should have done more with a header that he put over the bar but apart from that he had a quiet night, like most of his team-mates.
Scott Sinclair - 6: One of the Hoops' better performers on the night, tried to get things going and was unlucky with an effort that went across goal, faded in the second-half though.

FORWARDS AND SUBS
Patrick Roberts - 4: Found it hard going playing in the 'false nine' role and looked more comfortable on the wing, not his best performance but he wasn't playing in his regular position so he can be forgiven.
SUBS
Kieran Tierney - n/a: Tried to make things happen but had a quiet game overall
Tom Rogic - n/a: Similar to Kieran Tierney, came on and tried to get things going for the Hoops but to no avail
Ewan Henderson - n/a: Made his Hoops debut as a very late sub
