Ruben Amorim may still be able to offload the final member of Man United's 'bomb squad' after new transfer details emerged.

Tyrell Malacia has yet to find an exit route out of Old Trafford after a move to La Liga side Elche did not materialise.

Celtic were also interested in Malacia, but a move to Glasgow did not transpire for the 26-year-old.

Amorim has been able to loan Marcus Rashford to Barcelona and Jadon Sancho to Aston Villa whilst Antony and Alejandro Garnacho have completed permanent moves to Real Betis and Chelsea.

Tyrell Malacia could still complete loan move

As per The Sun, [10 September], Eyupspor want to take Malacia on a season-long loan, who only has one year left on his current contract at Old Trafford.

However, the window in Turkey closes in 48 hours, meaning Man United will need to act quickly if they want to let the Dutch international leave the club.

It comes after Andre Onana agreed to join Trabzonspor on loan after Man United signed Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp, who could make his debut in-between the sticks against Manchester City.

Man United's transfer window assessed

Malacia's exit would be the final piece of business Man United will conclude in this transfer window.

If he does leave then Amorim would have got rid of five members of the squad whom he saw he no future for at the club.

That will be hailed as a success by Amorim even if three of them are loan deals.

Amorim has also successfully been able to add more threat into his attack with the additions of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, whilst the jury is still out on Benjamin Sesko.

It is the midfield and the goalkeeping position which now looks to be the two biggest weakness in the Man United team.

Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes are both in their 30's and more energy and dynamism needs to be brought in so the pair are not overrun.

In goal, Lammens arrives in the Premier League under scrutiny at how he performs and it will be interesting to see whether it is the Belgian or Altay Bayindir who starts against Man City.
