Paul Robinson has claimed the return of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur will be a "huge boost" for Tottenham.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said Antonio Conte's side have "really missed" Kulusevski in particular.

Kulusevski and Bentancur have missed all of Tottenham's games in 2023 because of injury.

According to Football.London's Alasdair Gold (8 January), both players are expected to be available for the North London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Spurs will hope to strengthen their top-four bid and put a dent in Arsenal's title hopes when the two sides meet.

When asked by Football Insider for reaction to the news of Kulusevski and Bentancur's return, Robinson said: "It will be a huge boost to have those too back.

"They have really missed Kulusevski. He is the creative spark in that team.

"Yes, they had a great win at Crystal Palace but they still missed Kulusevski.

"He has been nothing short of sensational since joining a year ago. Him and Bentancur are two of the first names on the teamsheet.

"Spurs still have a lot of problems in defence though. That is where the majority of their problems lie.

"They need to get [Eric] Dier and [Cristian] Romero back to their best. Last season they were really solid at the back. It has been a different story over the past few months though."
