Tottenham will continue their winless run in the Premier League when they face Aston Villa after the international break on Sunday (26 November).

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Spurs and Scotland defender Alan Hutton claimed he was leaning towards an Unai Emery win, but a goal-heavy affair is expected.

Tottenham have suffered consecutive league defeats at the hands of Chelsea and Wolves to knock them down to fourth place in the Premier League table and have had to navigate a swathe of absentees.

Aston Villa

Meanwhile, Villa lurk just one point behind Ange Postecoglou's side and have emerged as European qualification contenders once again under the Spaniard and will enter the clash as the in-form side with five wins from six in all competitions.

Hutton warned that the Villans' away form has been an issue this season but predicted both sides to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with something to show for it.

"Obviously with the suspensions and injuries, this going to be really difficult for Tottenham," he told Football Insider.

"Villa are on a good run of form even though their away form has not been as good.

"It's going to be a difficult one. This will be close.

"I think it will be a draw. I'm edging towards Villa but probably a draw.

"There will definitely be goals. The way Villa play with a high line and with the people who are missing for Tottenham, that means there will be goals in it."
