Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to re-sign Ryan Fredericks on a free this summer following his brilliant season at Fulham.

The right-back has been strongly linked with a summer transfer, with Arsenal and West Ham among the clubs said to be very keen on signing him.

Fredericks is out of contract at Craven Cottage and can be bought for nothing, which makes him a very attractive target ahead of the summer window.

The 25-year-old has had an outstanding campaign for automatic promotion hopefuls Fulham and was named last Sunday in the Championship team of the year alongside teammates Ryan Sessegnon and Tom Cairney.

Fredericks, who graduated from the Spurs academy but quit in 2015 after a single senior appearance, has started 41 Championship matches this season and supplied an impressive nine assists from his flank role.

A section of Spurs supporters believe he would be a top addition to Mauricio Pochettino's squad, with one hailing him as "immense" and another as "exactly what's required".
